Abstract
In recent decades, museums, as cultural and educational institutions, have undergone significant transformations in management, conservation strategies, and visitor experiences. One of the most notable advancements is the integration of modern technologies and artificial intelligence (AI) into various aspects of museology. AI, utilizing complex algorithms and models, is capable of analyzing big data, predicting visitor behavior, and simulating environmental conditions for the preservation of cultural artifacts. These technologies have enabled museums to enhance cultural heritage preservation through digital data utilization and adopt proactive measures to prevent damage to historical objects. The application of AI systems in museum resource management has facilitated the optimization of storage processes, inventory management, and environmental condition control. Furthermore, digital technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) have significantly transformed the visitor experience in museums. These innovations provide features such as digital guides, interactive displays of artworks, and engaging educational content, enriching the overall museum experience.
This study analyzes the role of AI in transforming museum management and cultural heritage preservation. Additionally, it examines the challenges and opportunities associated with adopting modern technologies in this field, including concerns related to data privacy, technology accessibility, and the high costs of implementation. Finally, the research explores future perspectives on digital museology and proposes strategies for the optimal use of AI and digital technologies to enhance museum management, conservation efforts, and visitor engagement.
